vienna smart orchestra doesn't load in synchron player

Hi to the whole vsl team and happy new year from France!

I just bought the vienna smart orchestra. I followed all the recommendations for the installation. I can open synchron player as a plug-in but vso is not displayed anywhere in synchron player. No patches and preset folders are empty. I did everything in order and many times to be sure of myself but nothing changes. I do not know what to do.

A shot in the dark: Did you make sure that the sample content is installed (*.vsynvolume files in the assigned folder)?

"SmartOrchestra_Main.vsynvolume", "SmartOrchestra_Patches.vsynvolume", "SmartOrchestra_Update01_Presets.vsynvolume" : the 3 folders are there in a folder created on my ssd.

Looks ok, actually.

2 things to check:

1) Did you update your eLicenser Control Center?

2) What happens if you remove the "special characters" from the path (The "é") or copy the data to another location? => You need to update your Database Settings in both cases....

Thank you very much paul! It's working! I made a copy of the file by removing the accents and then renaming the directory and the path in synchron and it worked.

I tried mso with different software:

1) sequencer "mulab": everything works well

2) "vienna ensemble (64 bits)": there is a latency of 2 seconds before each sound and all sounds strange. I do not know if it comes from the setting "default preload size" (the number of samples is 4096) or other settings (see attached file)

3) "notion 6": I imagine that "mso" and "synchron player" are not created for the notation software but it works and there is no latency. By cons the software crash when I try to close it (only with projects that contain "synchron player." The other projects work as well as before)

That's good to hear (we will improve that)!

Latency in Vienna Ensemble Standalone should have to do with your audio card settings... Are you sure you selected the correct driver?

Synchron Player works in any host that accepts VST plug-ins. 

You can send the crash dump file to support@vsl.co.at, we can check what is cuasing the Notion crash.
