I would like to know if I can open a VE Pro 6 preset (say my own Violins 1) from Sibelius (2018.11)
Currently, I need to open a preset (instrument) in VE and allocate a channel etc. to communicate with Sibelius. No issue opening the score again and everything is sweet. However, I would like to create a staff in Sibelius, say Clarinet in Bb, and Sibelius automatically tell VE to open my Clarinet preset and allocate correct channel. Therefore, creating instruments in a score will act the same way as if creating instruments with Sibelius Sounds, without having to set-up everything in VE first.
More simply, what is the MIDI command to open a VE instrument preset and allocate a channel from a sequencer?
