  • Synchron Player Usage w/other Vienna Software

I'm contemplating on whether to buy the synchron-ized appassionata strings, would I be able to use the synchron player with VE Pro 6, MIR Pro, and Suite Pro? Also, I have a 2016 Macbook Pro with 16GB of RAM and my computer does a very good job at minimizing the RAM usage. Also, I barely load over 15 instruments per work or at all.

    Any pointers?

  • Hi Illuminatus,

    Short answer: Yes.

In mored detail: The SYNCHRON-ized Strings already have a version of MIR PRO implemented with the impulses that come with the integrated convolution reverb (placing the strings at Synchron Stage Vienna). So you don't necessarily need MIR PRO, but I guess it is another option to use the strings.

You can most definitely use the product with VE PRO 6 and Vienna Suite Pro (but I'd also try the plug-ins that come with your Synchron Player and compare it with a demo license of Vienna Suite Pro, to be sure you get what you need).

    Hope that helps a bit.

  • The Synchron-Player is made to work inside VE Pro. It is by far the technical superior much smarter software to play VSL samples, so I cant see any reason why you should not use it.

Concerning the RAM-USage, I would suggest, that synchronized Libraries would not need as much RAM as original Synchron-Libraries might need, since they dont have the multitude of Microphone-Positions to load, so synchronized-Appasionata Strings will presumably work quite good with your 16 GB RAM. Presumably the options to save Ram are in the synchron-player even smarter than in the prvious VI-Player.
