Yamaha CFX microphone settings
I installed the CFX but “unchecked” one set of mic settings. How can I enable that now? Thanks, Mike

Paul,
I don't understand this. The link you provided below shows either the Vienna Download Manager or the Yamaha CFX Stereo Library Download. I assumed it was the Yamaha link you were talking about but that simply wants to reinstall everything again. It was the Mono mic settings that I did not originally install, but I 'd like to now. How do i simply intall that set?
Thanks,
Mike
Hi Mike,
You need to download and install that one mic additionally.
Best,
Paul

Hello Michael,
There are 2 steps:
1) Download: YOU decide which data you'd like to download.
2) Installation: YOU decide which data you'd like to install.
To install an additional microphone, you need to start with the download and then finish with the installation.
The link in my answer sends you to the Synchron Library Download files. Choose the Yamaha CFX Standard Library Download and download the microphone data you need, then install it.
Best,
Paul

Paul,
Iunfortunatekly the link does not send me where you said. It sends me where I told you in my last email. I do not see any place where you can download individual things from the standard library.
Is there an uninstallation app in the original setup? I'll just do it all over again. I don't have time to try to figure this out. I love VI software, but man it is hard to navigate when you don't have an experienced knowledge. I wish you guys had phone support!
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
you just have to follow Paul's instruction: if you open the little file downloaded in the link, with the download manager app, it will offer you the option of checking/unchecking the single mic you are looking for (e.g. in your case uncheck all, but the mono mic) downloading it if you didn't before, and installing it with the same check/uncheck process you did first time.
