Opus 1/2 bundle upgrade policy

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I am considering buying either the pro edition or starting off with the opus 1/2 bundle.

Am I correct in believing there is an upgrade path from the bundle to the pro edition? If so, how does that work exactly? And what if I purchase from a 3rd party vendor in the US?

If you start with the Opus Bundle you will have the full price reduced when buying the Pro Edition later. This should work with every retailer.
