    I've been using my VSL CFX on an old MacBook Air and I'm looking forward to purchasing a new mac mini now that they've been updated. 

    What's more important when running the CFX, cores or ram? Would it be better to have a 6 core mini with 16gb of ram, or a 4 core with 32gb of ram?

    The mac mini is going to be used primarly for running the VSL CFX (and hopefully a VSL Steinway :-) in the future) and some basic video editing.

    I'd go for more cores and as much RAM as possible.
