  • Batch-replacing assigned controllers in VIP

    Hi,

After a few tries, I understand that I have to replace the CC2 controller, used in the presets supplied by VSL, with the more usual CC1 for Velocity X-Fade control. Working with multiple libraries, I need a common control for all of them.

CC1 is already used to select cells in VSL's presets. So, the operation consists in moving the assigned CC1 to an unusual controller, replace CC2 with CC1, reassign cell control to a different controller (if it is not the one already selected).

This, multiplied for all matrices and all presets. In my area, the average life expectancy is only 81 years.

Is there a way to batch-replace controls in multiple presets/matrices? Unfortunately, .vipreset file can't be opened with a text editor, and there are no dedicated tools in VIP. Any other idea on how to do it?
