    Same issue here! 

    Not only the short notes have clips at the end, the long notes (both legato and sustain) are having note dropping too. I host Syn Player in my VEP, using the only room mix mic for each string instruments.

    Mac Pro Quad w/ 64GB of ram
    Everything runs on SSD via thunderbolt 2
    Hosting VEP template on the same machine, latest version of VEP, Syn Player, Cubase Pro 9.5.3

    I cannot reproduce this here. 

    Please send me a small Cubase song with 1 instance of Synchron Player that shows this behaviour, I will check right away: support@vsl.co.at

    Was there a solution to this?

    I'm having the same problems in both Cubase and Sibelius.

    Is increasing the buffer the only solution? I've tried raising the Default Preload Size to 8192 but it still happens.

    If you Google "Cutting Off or Not Sounding VSL Synchron Samples" someone found a solution by decreasing their buffer within Cubase, which sounds odd. I will try that. I could understand the increasing aspect, but maybe the decreasing has something to do with working at the best settings for Syncrhon?
