At the CapellaWiki you can download  actualized configurations for Vienna Symphonic Libraries:

    https://wiki.sins942.ch/
(there at: 'capella-tune - VSTs einbinden und mehr')

They have been intensely tested for Capella 8 (Windows 7/10; maybe someone can test them on Mac, where Capella 8 is also natively running now).
Manuals are in German only, but this will not hinder installation.

Vienna Special Edition and More: Addition of Vienna WHISTLER and Vienna OVERDRIVE (7-strings sampled E-Guitar). Minor improvements.
Vienna Dimension Strings: Configuration with more possibilities of control.
    Vienna Choir: Minor corrections.

Vienna Special Edition and More: Addition of single instrument Vienna CLARINET in Bb (from the Woodwinds collection). A really well sampled Instrument! Works with Vienna Ensemble and both the Vienna Instrument Standard and the PRO Player.
You can play all necessary articulations, including 'scale runs' and all the 'glissandi'.
    * To play 'scale runs' and 'glissandi' you need a start note of appropriate length. To write the scale runs in your score just use a second voice and switch it to 'muted', and make the start note invisible.
(Helps Capella users to overcome one of the shortcomings of the Special Edition.)
