MIR can accept plugins or audio signals from VEP. Since they're not part of the Vienna library, how do you handle them? Is there a suggested signal level? Or do you just stick the item front and center, adjust the level so it sounds like it's front and center, and move it around from there to get the balance you want?

Like in case with any plug-in ,it's good practice to stick to old-school gain staging even when the audio engines are at least all 32bit FP nowadays. The rule of thumb: The input in every following stage should be as loud as possible without overloading. If you stick to this principle, nothing can go wrong technically. HTH,
