    As there are so many people asking for monitoring solutions on these pages, I thought I should tell you that we bought a Blue Sky MediaDesk system for the MIR-development, which is an astonishing set of acitve speakers, especially taking the low price into account. For computer-based, yet demanding audio-work, this seems to be a perfect solution for the very close near-field.
