  • I had the same situation as al lupo77, moving my ssd drive to a new computer and installing the Yamaha CFX. The image he attached to his message, was exactly the same as on my computer. The advice of Paul to add a rule in Vienna Synchron.ini worked for me, only at first I made some mistakes in the syntax. To help other people who make perhaps the same mistakes as I did, I write this here.

    To create the file Vienna Synchron.ini after installation of Yamaha CFX, I had to open first one time the Yamaha CFX in Vienna Ensemble (Pro). (I had removed the file before I reinstalled the Yamaha). I got an error message, but that doesn't matter.
    After that I opened the Vienna Synchron.ini file with notepad.
    (In my computer I found the file 'Vienna Synchron.ini' in: c:\users\<<username>>\AppData\Roaming )

    The rule with the syntax that worked for me, is:

    volumeScanPaths = [{"path":"F:\\VSL Samples\\Synchron Pianos Yamaha","preCacheSampleCount":-1}]

    (And of course the part
       F:\\VSL Samples\\Synchron Pianos Yamaha
    is computer specific, as crusoe wrote.
