    On my system, the current software does not auto-name a Synchron cell (auto-name works based on whatever patch is assigned to Slot 1A). In a matrix with both Synchron and pre-Synchron patches in Slot 1A in two different cells,  the pre-Synchron cell will auto-name, but the Synchron will not. 

    Has anyone else observed this?

    The Synchron Strings I patchnames will auto-name in Synchron Player but they do not in Vienna Instruments an they probably won't.

    Thank you. You are the first to speak specifically about the Synchron Player. Hopefully this means more news is imminent. NAMM begins in two days.
