    Hi!

After few days from the release I tested Sy Strings shorts with this track from Star Wars. So I decided to complete the task programming all sections.
VSL Woodwinds, Harp and Dimension Brass are mixed with the Synchron room for MIR; there is also MIRacle on top.

I just programmed the attack of violas in the first measures because I wanted to achieve an even softer dynamic. Other than that I started from the VEP Stereo Template provided by VSL. Unfortunately I don't have the Matrix Mixer, so I'm afraid I miss the natural runtime difference, at the expense of stereo clarity..

Please tell me any of your tips and thoughts.

    Best,

    Fabio

  • Hi Fabio,

Very well done! I like the acoustic and ambience, but most the ostinato strings; which are so delicately recorded from ppp to ff and with such a precision. Nice depth too, so I can't imagine what could be added. If this was a trial, please go on with it!

    Thanks for sharing,

    Jos

  • Hi Jos,

thanks a lot for your psotive comments; I'm really glad you enjoyed it.
I would like to improve it once legato patches for all sections are released (16th should not be played staccato according to the score). And I would also like to do program the whole track, but unfortunately it starts and it continues with a huge choir with lyrics! But I'm thinking right now I could still try to do it with a regular choir patch..!

    Thanks for your time!

    Fabio
