I have a 2 Mac setup.
I have a Mac Pro (64GB ram), which is the master with VEPro 6 installed.
My 2nd computer (slave) is an iMac 5K (48GB ram) and I also have VEPro 6 installed. I'm using nothing by SSD, running macOS 10.13.2.
The problem is that when I quit a Pro Tools (latest version) session, VEPro on the master computer quits immediately, while VEPro on the slave quits/unloads after nearly 2 minutes.
So to be clear, I have (5) instances on the slave's VEPro. (3) instances always quit without issue's. The other 2 instances is where the problem lies.
I took the Mac Pro and Pro Tools out of the equasion completely and only launched VEPro on the slave using my usual setup and again, it took 2 minutes for it to unload/quit. So it's not PT.
The interesting thing is when I remove the CAT6 cable from the slave, VEPro unloads/quits without any problems. I've tried this many times with the same results.
What is causing VEPro to hang for 2 minutes when the CAT6 cable is connected?
Thanks!
