Sibelius notation for detache

Dear Andi

I understand that the current way to trigger detache in Sibelius is by putting 'detache' in the expression. It used to be that we could put the tenuto bar and trigger it. This was very convenient since its easy to seitch back and forth between detache and other articulations. But now the score becames messy with 'detache' and 'normale' all over the place.

Is there a way tenuto sign could still be made to work for detache samples?

never mind my question.

I am realizing that if I specify detache expression at the beginning of the score, any other expression overrides it, unless there is no expression in which case detache is played. So thsi acts like a default which is the case in actual scores.
