    I've been working in a set-up with a slave and master computer - PC (Windows 10) slave hooked up via ethernet to iMac (new 08/2017) using VE Pro 6 and Logic Pro X (running Sierra, not High Sierra).

    For the most part it's smooth sailing, but I was curious as to if there's a better way to connect all of my loaded instruments in Logic than using multi-output. The issue I have with multi-outs is that it limits the amount of mixing I can do in Logic because all of the MIDI channels from one instance are grouped together. 

    Any thoughts?

    Are you doing this? You can set up auxes and send individual instruments or groups to those Auxes within Logic
