  • Buying Synchron Strings and giving back?

Hello, is there any period I can give Synchron Strings back if I do not like them ?

    Thank you.

I am pretty sure you will like them😃

  • OK, but I need a reply to my question, if I preorder them now. What are the rules? If I preorder Synchron Strings and do not like them, can I give them back within 2 weeks???

I am wondering if it is better then Spitfire

  • This ("better") depends on what is important 4 U ...

better = as many articulations as possible (then Spitfire wins the race)

better = more mics (VSL wins the race)

better = ease of use (VSL "will hopefully" win the race)

    and so on ...

    it depends ...

  • Hi Adia,

No worries, you can return any product that you order in the VSL Online Store within one month after your purchase.
Kindly note that our Authorized Dealers and other resellers might have other rules on returns.
We’re definitely getting closer to a release date, we can’t wait to hear your feedback!

    Best,
    Stefan

  • Hi Stefan,

Can you give me a rough estimate at this point on how much hard drive space I'll need for installation of Synchron Strings?  Making a few VST purchases soon and trying to figure out if I'll have enough space or if I need to buy another ssd.  Just a rough guesstimate would be appreciated.

    thanks,

    Steve

  • Hi Steve, Thanks for asking, and your interest in our Synchron Strings I. Alright, here's a rough estimate: Standard Library: ca. 200 GB Full Library: ca. 400 – 500 GB Please note though that this really is only an estimate, so these numbers might change. Hope that helps with your preparations! Now, back to working on the library! Best, Stefan

  • Could you please be more specific Stefan?

"No worries, you can return any product that you order in the VSL Online Store within one month after your purchase"

    1. I am going to preorder, does a return time starts counting from a release date or from a payment date (which would be not fair at all)?

2.And what if I preorder a standard version and then want to update to Full Library, after it is realeased, how much will I have to pay additionaly, Early Bird Offer difference or more? This is very important to me.

    Thank you

Thanks Stefan.  That gives me enough info to figure out my set up.  Looking forward to hearing and playing this thing when it's ready.

    cheers,

    Steve

  • You're welcome, Steve. :)

Aida, in this special case as Synchron Strings I hasn't been released yet, we can count the one month onwards from the actual release day of the product. In other words, on emonth onwards from the day the samples are available for download.

As for your 2nd question, with VSL products you can always upgrade from a Standard Library to a Full Library by paying only the difference. With the Early Bird pricing on Synchron Strings I, the upgrade currently costs €764 minus €417 = €347.

    Best,
    Stefan

  • Hi Stefan and other,

I appreciate a good contact to you and therfore I bought the basic product. When will it be available? Days, weeks?

I own only Orchestral Strings which was free with VEP, I do not own any Vienna instrument, can you tell me what about automation and VEP on another machine for Vienna Instruments? Do I have to remap anything? Or there is an iPad app from Vienna?

    Thank you

  • Hi Adia,

I see you have also written to support, I have answered your questions via email.
