  • Need help figuring out how to organize this shit

    Hey all,

So I'm doing a big upgrade cause I've been maxing out my current workstation for awhile now and now have myself 2 server computers to run VE Pro on. Most of my work involves orchestral libraries so I'm trying to create one of those EVERYTHING templates that I see people have.

That being said, the one thing that I can't quite wrap my head around is how to incorperate layering different libraries (i.e. strings). Before, due to my limited resources I only ever used one library or another based on the needs of the project. Since all the different string libraries I have (CSS, Berlin, Spitifre, etc.) have different sets of articulations and keyswitches, I'm stuck as to how to have them all without seperate instances of kontakt for each one. Since VST expression maps are (from what I understand) specific to each instrument, I can't just have them all "read" off of say the Violin 1 track in Cubase and have Violin 1 be just one instance of Kontakt within VEP can I?

If anyone understands what I'm saying I'm really confused just as to how to set up everything and would really appreciate some insight.

    Thanks
