    Hi - 

    I have a template that I'm attempting to add MIR to.  When I add the MIR plugin as an insert in VE PRO 6 there is no sound.  Everything seems to be set correctly.  I can select the rooms I have licenses for and the instrument is correctly placed on the stage.  

    If I start a new VE Pro Sever Session (an empty one not based on my template) - MIR works as it should.  

    I'm running VEP 6.0.16178 on Windows 8

    Please help!

    Please send an example to support@vsl.co.at - we will look at it ASAP. You could also post some screenshots here: Maybe it's just a simple problem that's easy to solve just by seeing what you were seeing. :-)

    Hi unsruck, 

    Seems like there is a glitch when using a VE PRO 5 template. One solution is to save your tracks as channel sets and import them in VE PRO 6 again, then MIR PRO works like it should in VE PRO 6.

    I figured out why there was no sound.  For some reason when initiating MIR within my existing template there was no 'main microphone' selected.  When I did select one there were no available outputs to route it within MIR.

    I was able to fix my problem by saving each project and reloading them.  Then I could choose a main mic and the correct outputs were available.  

    All good now!

    Thanks for reporting, Unsruck. Good to hear that things are working for you again. I'll mark the thread as "solved" then.

    Still I would like to ask VSL's software engineers to look into that issue in depth to avoid similar irritation in the future. So if you find the time: Please send an example of the problematic template to the support-address I mentioned above. It would help us to make VE Pro and MIR Pro even better. :-)

    Thanks for posting the solution you found - I was having the same issue with my new VE Pro 7 and putting MIR Pro as an inline insert on channels already in use.  I was pulling my hair out because I could not figure it out!  Now everything works great!
