Hadn't considered the piece jazzy per se, but I can see that. As for the piano, yes, I do play it in myself as it makes a big difference to the sound/feel, even if it adds some extra work having to play some impossibly difficult passages :)

In many ways a surprising composition full of unexpected turns and phrases. I particularly like the 'flow' of events. Not a real construction or a definable texture, but a kind of conversation between old acquaintances. Lovely, it has something from a very spontaneous improvisation and yet thought through. Mysterious like incantations...
