    Hey,

    as I brought up my exotic percussion for the first time since I purchased MIR Pro, I realized that there are no presets for some instruments. I hope these will be included in the next update of MIR Pro.

    What I'd need for now, are the volume settings of: Spring Drum, Thundersheet, Singing Bowls, Jingle Ring and Roto Toms. Maybe you can help me out here.

    Hi Michael,

    I understand your request - but these exotic percussion instruments are just that: Exotic. 😊

    Back then, we had no chance to get our hands on them for the extensive directivity measurements that MIR's Instrument Profiles are based on. Therefor we have to refrain to the General Purpose profiles in these rare cases (... actually that's one of the main reasons that they were implemented at all in the very early days of legacy Vienna MIR, before MIR could work on any audio input, not just Vienna Instruments ... but I digress).

    But never say never: As a matter of fact now owns many of these instruments, as they were bought for the Synchron Stage's percussion collection. Maybe we can arrange a new series of measurements on day - but please don't hold your breath! 😉

    The "Exotic Percussion" might be a little exotic, but no instrument profiles even for Roto-Toms and Concert Toms? I hope that you get the chance to measure all the missing instruments for MIR Pro when new recordings take place.
