    Hi,

    Yesterday, I worked on the repetition tool with the trumpets ensemble forte stacc patch. I like the sound ... it's a John Williams sound just like I want ... but the problem is the long note in the orchestral cube ... it doesn't sound like the repetition. For example, I have a pattern :

    Taa Ta Ta Ta Taaaa

    I use the "Taa" with the Orchestral Cube forte sustain patch, the "Ta" with repetition tool and "Taaaa" again with the OC. When I play it, the "Ta" are exactly like I want but the "Taa" and "Taaaa" are more brassy, more metalic.

    What sustain patch is the best to use with the repetition tool ?

    Try the long notes dynamic layers version (mf-f) and check if you find the right balance with the modwheel; or simply ad a filter to the normal sustains (controlled also by modwheel)

    If you could need more natural phrasing check also the medium dynamics.

    Herb
