    I am setting up a new ve pro 5 server and the problem that I'm having is that it appears that the server is not advertising on the local network (within VE Pro 5). 
     
    Is there a list of things or a page explaining everything to try to troubleshoot? 
     
    Both machines (server and host) are running Mavericks 10.9.5 I'm using a secondary Ethernet network to connect them.  I can screenshare and connect via the Finder. 
    Both machines are running the latest version of VE Pro 5.4.

    Just to answer my own question, I was opening up a newer version (6) on my DAW machine and I think that's why it was not seeing it.
