Hi everyone,
Can someone explain to me what the goniometer does, how to use it, and where to put it in the signal chain?
Thanks,
Aric

So you use this on an individual instrument track or jus the master or both? Also, how do you go about correcting problems? Is it a simple matter of adusting the pan for a certian track or is it more involved?Yes. Generally I use it in the last step in mixing. If there are any corrections that need to be made, I'll nudge the audio tracks here and there but if you have your templates set up properly then there really isn't much nudging to do. Of course I'm referring to orchestral music. I use the goniometer a lot more for Pop and rock tracks especially on drums.
