    I need a harpsichord, and would prefer the VSL instument.  However, I need for it to be completely dry, with almost no room.  Could some someone comment on this as I really can't tell from the demos.

    I can confirm that the Vienna Instruments Harpsichord recordings are "dry" - not in the sense of an anechoic-room, but with lots of "air" and "vibe" around the instrument, while avoiding actual reverb.
