    Hoping someone can help. After installing a new computer, MIR Pro isn't acting as usual.

    Basically, when I open a MIR Pro plugin in Logic, the MIR Pro program doesnt open. I can open it manually, and it will work, but it doesnt retain my settings in my saved patches (i.e. when selecting my saved patch in Logic with the MIRx Violins and MIRx settings set up, I get sound, but the preset information doesnt go through)

    Sometimes it will retain a setting, but it doesnt show up in the right hand section, only when right-clicking the instrument icon, so I have to select another MIRx preset and then re-select the correct one, for it to actually show in the right hand section (i.e. it shows "general purpose" to the right, but when clicking the icon it shows as "violin" is selecting.

    Basically I guess you could say MIR Pro is acting a little strange...

    Anyone have any ideas? Any cache or preferences file I could trash or something?

    Hi Peterberg,

    This might be due to changes you made in MIR Pro's Preferences on your previous system, but it's also quite likely that you have installed a new version of Logic now which behaves differently.

    Please get in contact with Mr. Marnix Veenenbos via support@vsl.co.at with a reference to this thread. He's our local Logic guru and will be able to help you. :-) Please include as many technical details as possible (OS, hardware, software versions etc.)
