I perform live in theaters. We are a note for note 1960s tribute band. Everything needs to be spot on…
How are the Vienna Instruments orchestral libraries for playing live? (Specifically at the moment the recorder library, then other wind/brass/world if it works well). Can the libraries be played live expressively and with nuance? Can they be played realistically using velocity, aftertouch and other controls? Creating different breaths, tonguing, attacks, tambres, vibratos, pitch variation, dynamics etc. naturally and intuitively on the keyboard?
Can I run two or more instances of the same library at once on the same computer? In other words can I run an alto recorder with certain settings in one zone, and run the same alto recorder library with different settings in a different zone at the same time?
Does anyone have any links to people using the winds/brass live?
Also how stable/ reliable are the libraries in mainstage on a good MacBook Pro? Can't have things going wrong live…
