    hi,

    I have several vienna instruments licenses and all have been working just fine for some time.

    Now, i have a problem with my solo strings library. They won`t show up in the matrix/patch/preset folder in vienna instruments and vi pro.

    When i load up a preset saved in my daw (reaper 5 ) the samples are marked red and can`t be used.

    I used them before but all of a sudden they doesn`t work anymore.

    I have checked the eLicenser. The license is registered on my dongle.

    Can somebody help?

    Platform is a win7 pc with reaper 5.

    Hi M Q S,

    Looks like the connection to your sample content was lost.

    Please open the Directory Manager (find it in "Applications" (OS X) or "All Programs" (Win) => then "Vienna Instruments").

    Remove all folders - then add all sample content again by drag and drop from your Finder/Explorer.

    More information about how the Directory Manager works can be found in the video "How to use the Directory Manager".

    thanks! it did work.

    i simply rescan the existing folders.

    what could be the reason for this and how can i prevent this to happen in the future?

    Either the samples were moved in the folder structure or maybe a drive was renamed or labelled differently.... 

    But now you know what to do!
