Hello everyone,
maybe someone could help me here. When I load any vienna violin into mirpro, and I move the instrument around from left to right on either side of the microphone, it does not really change the panning levels like it should. I have to manually tweak it using the power pan plugin. Maybe there's something I'm missing.
Any suggestions would be awesome!

Hi Tony,
are you using MIR Pro in a stereo (or surround) channel? MIR can't do any panning in a mono channel, for obvious reasons.
In the same vein: Are you using a proper stereo (or surround) Main Microphone setup within MIR? Again, no panning will happen in a monophonic setup.
.... in case these very basic suggestions don't help, please get in contact with support@vsl.co.at, including as many technical details as possible (OS, CPU, RAM, DAW, audio system, drivers and software versions), and ideally some screenshots and a project file, too.
