I am curious if anyone else is running Giga and sequencer with VSL Performance Set on same machine. I have been able to get the performance legato strings working without launching my sequencer, but of course once my sequencer is opened it says I have no midi in port selected which is obvious because you have to bypass the midi in on Giga to use the performance sounds.
I can't seem to get sound running in my sequencer and see the problem is obviously because there is no midi in selcted on Giga and my sequencer won't play or record sound without midi in.
Like Gigastrings Maestro tools, i have opened the sequencer seperately from Giga, but with Maestro tools you can set the midi in port on Giga to Maestro tools which allows Cakewalks midi ins to function.
The Performance tools midi in is selected Delta 1010 which is my soundcard and midi out to Nemesys port 1 as it should as well.
How can I get this to work with VSL? I am running Cakewalk Sonar XL 2.0.
