  • Remote App only works sporadically

    After restarting my iPad and my iMac to troubleshoot , I am having problems with the remote app. In VEP6 i have 10 instruments loaded and only one of them connects with the remote app. I am also using Vienna instruments pro and I am working with Digital performer 9. Paul

  • No one else is experiencing problems I guess.

    My Remote App works well if I don't use VEP6. If I use VIP only, it works well. Are there issues using the Remote App with VEP6?

    Hi Paul,

    So I can confirm that the Remote App is not working properly on my setup. I have tried everything, but for some reason, the RA "defaults" to one VI (the violas in this case) and won't change. I have made sure I have play enabled every track, tried arming the cellos for record (in this case) to no effect. The RA shows a zoomed in display of the violas. I've selected other instruments in VEP, but there is no response in the app.

    Any further suggestions?

    I´m checking on OS Sierra  right now, no troubles whatsoever. 

    What are you network settings, what are your VI PRO Remote Settings?

  • Thanks, Paul. You've been very helpful, and I have now read the Remote App manual more carefully. !!!!

    I now have the Remote App working well within VEP6, except for the fact that Matrices panel shows slots without key switch info. Just a solid blue slot for each. No label on the left side. 

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    Checked again this morning... All fine here on a 2012 regular iPad, VI PRO 2.4.14074...

    Which tablet are you using? Which browser?
