    Any thoughts on what would be the best microphone for the conductors position?  I'm using the Vienna Konzerthauz Grossersaal Stage.  I'm sure there are many opinions on this and it usually comes down to what do you like the sound of.  I'm just looking for a starting point.

    I don't know about "the best" setup, but I tried to created a few (150, actually) starting points for you: They are available as "Venue Presets" from your VSL download-area (a.k.a. "My VSL"). ... make sure to select the "Tutorials/Templates" tab at the top of the page. 😉
