Running DP 9.02/Windows 8.1/VEP 6.

I find that VEP latency is unnoticeable when playing back sequences in real time. However, when bounced to disc, the same sequences have noticeable latency IF I run Waves plug-ins from inside of VEP. If I insert the same plug-ins acrosses auxes returning into DP, instead of using them inside of VEP, then the problem is mitigated. Has anybody else observed this issue and/or found a solution?
