No Master/Slave connection when Audio Input is selected.

Hello Community,

I’m new with Audio Mixing and just find out that there is no Master/Slave connection when Audio Input is selected. I have a connection in Multi-Output.

Bypass button has gone in Logic X so I’m not able to bypass in I/O Utility as recommended in Manual

Hi Gukas, 

What happens if you click "Assign" in the Audio Input Plug-in?

If you are connected to a VE PRO Server with a "normal" Vienna Ensemble Server Interface Plug-in, the Audio Input Plug-in can hook into that connection.

Thanks for the anwer.

I'll show step by step. When I click "Assin" it there happends nothing. The Audio Input doesn't see the Slave Comp. Audio track plays back but when I assign VE Pro Audio Input - no sound.

Hello Gukas, 

You need an EXISTING VE Pro Connection to the VE PRO Server in order to make the Audio Input plug-in work. 

1) Insert VE PRO as an instrument plug-in and CONNECT to a VE PRO Server. 

2) Insert the Audio Input Plug-in as an FX plug-ins and CONNECT to the existing connection. 

3) Choose which input you want to use in the Audio Input plug-in. 

4) Insert an Audio Input Channel, and pick the corresponding Audio Input as a source.
