  • MirX and multiple outputs for stems

    Hello,

I will often be asked for my short and long notes seperated when stemming, and in the past I would simply have all my long articulations go out 1-2 & all short articulationsI would put on a different matrix which sent output 3-4. However it seems MirX only works on output 1-2.

Is it possible to still use MirX for the short articulations yet still have them output 3-4 for stemming? I know a possible work around would be to have multiple VI pro instances, but unfortunately doubling up on all MirX really takes a toll on my system. Are there any alternatives or am I out of luck? Can MirPro even handle this situation?

  • Yes, MIR Pro and MIR Pro 24 allow for free, independent routing of any signal component, provided they are used as integral part of Vienna Ensemble Pro, not as the more conventional plug-in in your DAW. Kind regards,
