VSL in Sibelius 8 beginner - resources for beginners ?

I have some orchestral pieces that I created in Digital Performer, now in DP 9, and I have just purchased Sibelius 8.  

I want to teach myself how to configure Sibelius to access my VSL sounds - are there any tutorial videos etc ?

excuse me but im looking for a french manual for instal our libray on sibelius.

I hava realise all it 's indicate but it's doesn't works and i don't know why.

No sound

It's for a very big conducteur with 35 instruments (wind orchestra and percussions)

Please help me :)

Hey Rodrina,

You can use google translate. It should work fine for getting the gist out of the manual. I have needed it few times, to check some things, during my grad studies, and it was acceptable ( probably it is even better than few years ago).

Could you explain how we can put more tha 16 instruments in the playback device?

And second question.

After have configurate Sibelius I have insert all the intruments in vienna instrument but it doesn't works

Hello Rodrina!

I'm sorry to say that the "Optimizing Sibelius Playback" manual only exists in an English version. Bogdan's suggestion of using Google Translate is a good idea. How to use more than one Vienna Ensemble (and more than 16 instruments this way) is explained on page 5.

It's impossible to say why it doesn't work, if the only description we get is, "it doesn't work". ;-) Maybe the Troubleshooting chapter of the aforementioned manual can help. If you need more help, please include details about your system (OS, Sibelius version, Vienna Instruments version), what you have done exactly and what doesn't work.
