    Hello,

    First off, I love using the two MIRx concert halls. Such a great sound!

    I was wondering if you had a collection of seating charts for the various groups of instruments available. 

    I do a lot of orchestra writing, so the presets work great, but right now I'm doing a symphonic band arrangement. I'd like to know the different options I have in moving players around. Say, like the Alto saxes going where the trumpets usually sit. The EQ'ing built in would be a little off, but I think it would still work for me. 

     

    Eventually, I plan on getting the MIR Pro, so this won't be an issue.

    Hi Todd,

    glad to hear that you like MIRx! Feedback like yours is the reason why I actually go through the arduous process of creating these myriads of presets at all. 8-)

    Starting on p. 15, the MIRx Manuals offer over 20 pages of screenshots derived directly from these projects. While not every single Vienna Instrument has been made visible, you should get a good overview of how the instrument families have been put together.

    Apart from that, there is the small, generalized Venue Map in MIRx' GUI itself (a.k.a. "Instrument Position Display", mentioned on p. 7 of the manual), which should give you at least a basic idea of the individual instruments' and ensembles' positions on the stage of the chosen MIRx Venue. The small rectangle shows you the position of the Microphone.

    Thanks for the quick response. That's exactly what I was looking for. Guess I should have read the manual. ;)

    It's nice to use a great product from a company where the creators have such a strong passion for what they create.
