    Trying to get vepro 5 to open on Windows 8 (64bit), but nothing happens. I can see a process running in the Task Manager ("Vienna Ensemble Pro"), but I have no way of opening the UI.

    It's been a while since I used VEpro (and never on this machine), but I seem to recall there should be a tray icon. There isn't.

    So... now what?

    I think the problem was with the eLicensor key. When I tried to start Cubase, the same thing happened. It seems that for some reason the key just wasn't recognized.

    Rebooted the machine and it works now.
