    Something strange going on  - has anyone already seen/resolved this please?

    I would like a long sustained harmonic to play over two bars (natural harminc, E sting, violin).

    If  I have no tie, the two notes play correctly with a break between them. But when I had a tie, the 1st one plays, the 2nd one doesent play.

    However, if I remove the harmoinc indicator, the tied notes work correctly. So it is something to do with the combination of harmincs and ties.

    (sibelius 7.5, VSL solo strings 1 extended, VI pro, macbook pro 2014).

    Hello Rangi!

    The Solo Strings I harmonics articulations are not looped and so the notes will end after some time. In your case retriggering the note by leaving out the tie is probably the best solution.
