  • [SOLVED] MIR Unable To Load Pernegg Presets

Hi all,I purchased the Pernegg Monastery room pack last month and tried it out, but am only now trying to use it for a project. I have updated to the latest version of VEP and downloaded the latest set of venue presets (V 1.5, replacing my old version of 1.4), but when opening a project in MIR I cannot see any files listed in the Pernegg folder. Those from the other venues are shown with no problems, and the files are definitely there on the drive when I check with Windows Explorer. I notice that the files for the Pernegg presets have their type described as 'MIR Engine Project' (with the file extension .mirep), while the presets for the other venues I've checked have their type described as 'Vienna Ensemble Pro Frame 64' (with the file extension .viframe64).The problem is, I think, that MIR is looking to open .viframe files, not .mirep files, and as such it cannot see them. On some programs there is an option to look for files of any type, but on MIR the only option listed is .viframe, .viframe32 and .viframe64Is there some way I can change it to look for all types of files, or is this something hardwired into VEP, and if so would it be possible to get the Pernegg presets (or at least the 'typical setup' preset) as a .viframe64 file please? If this is simply a teething problem with the new roompack I completely understand and am very happy to be patient for however long it takes for it to be addressed. I do of course understand that while new product releases two months in a row are very exciting for the users, it does mean that the VSL team must be particularly busy and exhausted right now. Many thanks,Pyre

  • Are you sure that you try to load the Engine Project file from MIR Pro´s dedicated file management dialog? In VE Pro you access it from the "File - Vienna MIR Pro"-submenu.

  • Ah, thanks Dietz, that's got it! I'll move the files across to the MIR Engine Project folder, I hadn't even been aware that existed before now.
