Can I Automate VE Pro Volume Faders?

I am wondering, is there a way to automate VE Pro volume faders? I need this to control the volume of a group of instruments, i.e. strings.

If it's VE Pro 5, you can automate anything the plugin exposes to a host. If it's VE Pro 4, you can automate channel volume, balance and, IIRC sends volume level. See image: Automation map
