Sounds play using Test button in Sibelius "Playback Devices" but not using Test button in "Mixer"

I just opened an old Sibelius sequence that used to work fine with Sibelius 7.x.  With the sequence open in Sibelius, when I go to Setup and click Test in the Playback Devices dialog I hear the correct sound from all four instances of Vienna Ensemble Pro.  So they are connected properly to Vienna Ensemble Pro Server.  I also hear the correct sound from within VE Pro.

However Sibelius is mute when I click either the Play button or click the Test button in the mixer.  When the sequence is playing there is no activity in the mixer.  All tracks are applied to the correct Vienna Ensemble Pro Server instance and channel in the mixer.

I'm using:
Sibelius 8.0.0 build 66Vienna Ensemble Pro 5.4.13845
Vienna Instruments Pro 2.4.13845
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Anyone have any thoughts?  TIA

Hello John in CC!

Generally it is recommended to leave the output device and channel settings in the Sibelius mixer alone. Making settings there can mess up the playback. If you have already made settings there or are not sure, reset all outputs in the Sibelius mixer to (Auto).

If this doesn't make a difference, please let me know, if you have other devices in your playback configuration as well and if you have made settings on the Manual Sound Sets page for all devices.
