Is there a way to vary the speed and amplitude of the vibrato in the solo string libraries? I don't mean progressive vibrato, I mean a slower wider, vibrato vs. a faster, tighter vibrato? Real string players have many different kinds of vibrato and it seems to me that at least these 2 basic types should be equally represented.
Ideas?

The reason for this is that natural vibrato as well as senza vibrato have been sampled within a huge number of articulations, so you can't yet have every level of vibrato possible with live players. The amount of articulations and variation already in the Solo Strings makes them far more extensive than most if not all other libraries.
If you want fake vibrato, you can get it with many lower grade libraries and vary it however you wish. But it was decided against by VSL and most other serious sample libraries because the vibrato is one of the most artistic aspects of string performance and to mechanistically fake it is deeply offensive.
