Steinberg finally offers a trial version of their Cubase8 program, so I thought I'd give it a test drive to see how the VSL expression maps work with the Dimension Strings series.

I'm impressed wih the results. Note that this recording was almost raw, using only some warming channel strip plug-ins and MIRPro24. I think the recording needs to have the wet/dry ratio on the reverb pulled way back, among other tweaks, but overall I found the test drive a success.
This was a first effort, of course, and if anyone has suggestions, they'd be very much appreciated.
