Hi,
I would like to buy the basic Solo Strings 1 and Apassionata Strings 1. Before I pruchase, I would like to know if I can run them with Sibelius First by downloading the soundset and export the audio file so that it can later be mixed in Cubase, Audition, etc. Do I download them from the website or do I receive something in the mail? Other than the Vienna Key, do I need to purchase anything else?

Hello Scott!
Sibelius First has some limitations concerning playback. So in order to work with our instruments I recommend upgrading to Sibelius (or using sequencer software like Cubase in the first place).
Our Vienna Instruments & Vienna Ensemble software comes free with all our libraries. So apart from the Vienna Key you don't need to purchase anything in addition.
Our software, the library content and the VSL Soundset Installer for Sibelius can be downloaded from the MyVSL area after the registration.
