sibelius 7.03 house set 2.

hi

just starting so a few questions -

1.

on the website the house set download is only 1.0.67 for sibelius .

I see in some of the threads replies you there should be a 2. and higher 

how can I download the latest house set.

when I load the VSL house set i have no indecations that it is loaded, thats kind of annoying. when i go to the dictionary I don't see some of the markings that should be there (like blare) the blare does work though. 

I cannot trigger  - sffz - because it doesnt exist in the pull down menu (only sfz works)  and when i write it there is no responce. 

3. 

can't get the glissando to work. on the manual you are relating to sibelius 6. these menus don't appear in 7.

Here are the answers to your questions.

1.) VSL Soundset Installer 1.0.67 is the latest version. So you are up to date.

2.) Sibelius is a software by Avid and not by us. So any requests regarding Sibelius like displaying the currently loaded House Style should be directed at Avid. Anyway, you can check if the VSL House Style is loaded by going to the Dictionary. If the last entries are "div" and "div2", the VSL House Style is loaded. "blare" and "sffz" are included in the VSL House Style and should work with libraries where these articulations are available.

3.) I guess you are refering to the chapter "Optimizing legato, portamento and glissando" of the "Optimizing Sibelius Playback" manual, right? This chapter is written for Sibelius 7, with the menu names for Sibelius 6 written in brackets. The Sibelius Inspector (Sibelius 7) can be opened in Sibelius in the Home menu. Please also note that glissando is only available for a few instruments.
