every time i start using pitch whell it lowers the volume of the instrument i',m using. pitch is set to pitch wheel in VIP.???

  • Suggest you upload a screen capture of the VI Pro instance being used. It might help to indicate where things are going wrong.

Also, it might help to indicate what DAW software you are using, and any MIDI peripherals like your keyboard, etc. You'll need to isolate the problem to one of these things. It's either a CC assignment in VI Pro, in your DAW, or in some MIDI peripheral.

  • Hi Thanks for your response I'm using cubase 7.5 , yamaha motif xf8 as keyboard , I've noticed that if I disconnect two effects pedals ( not sustain pedal )then this doesn't happen. I checked the cc essignement and one pedal is set to cc3 as slotcrosfade, another to cc4 as expression(is set 127 level) ,cc2 is assigned to breath control ( tecontrol) as velocity xfade and its off and pitch is assigned to pitch wheel. stil figuring it out.....:)
