  • Two Exemptions for Y-Axis Interval Maps

I say "exemptions" in honor of the American tax season....

Hey, listen and consider, you wonderful folks at VSL, to two ideas for exceptions to the rule when dealing with Interval Maps and the conventions of VE software.

    1. Cell Enable.  When a keyswitch's Y-axis is set to Interval Map and cells are disabled, would you consider letting one MIDI note request enable the whole column? There would be no added RAM load, and it would save the user from playing up and down the keyboard to coax all three cells to load.

    2. Slot Link (Link by Patch Name).  This is a "gotcha" setting with Interval Map, as all three cells usually share the same patch. If the user leaves this link on and then adjusts the Humanize setting, all cells in the Y-axis assume that  setting. So if you set the middle cell to Rise to Tune, and then set the lowest cell to Fall to Tune, boom, now the middle cell is Fall to Tune also (and so is the top cell, which is usually intended to have no setting or just a random).

Okay, I have to go back to my taxes now.
