    I have the Bb Clarinet(s) from the complete Special Edition. However the hightest note  is (concert) E, whereas the real instrument can go several notes farther.  Is there someway I cam stretch the range? I need a high G# (concert), and I know it is perfectly playable by a professional clarinetist.

    Hello Alan!

    Most patches of the Clarinet in Bb go to G6. I guess you have tried the legato patch, which only goes to E6. With the Vienna Instruments Pro player it is possible to extend the range of our instruments by a major third up and down. This can be done in the Advanced View after clicking the button in the lower right (Show/Hide Keyboard Range).

    Thanks so much. I have VI pro and it worked. My clarinet concerto now has a proper climax! :-)
